Ah, New Year’s Eve with a million of our closest… well, I dunno if I’d say they were friends, but we were certainly close, packed in as we were to watch the fireworks the other night. A late start New Year’s Day brought with it a surprise, as well: snow!
The new year has brought a new look not only to Berlin, but this site as well. (Ok, that happened a few days before it was officially 2008, but close enough.) And it brings me to a new city, Bonn, where I’ll be doing research for about two months. We’ll see how that goes.
Unfortunately, the New Year also brought today, January 2, the day Deb flew home. Fortunately, not long after I get back to Berlin, so will she!
