A true breakthrough, indeed. She’d suffered such trauma: being forced to swim back to shore from a yard or so out when only one two three several months old; being left in the middle of a pool, having to claw her way out once she reached the edge. But, with the life of a tennis ball at stake, she rose to the occasion.
